| Bio: | ...I Am Reading: Whatever my 12 year-old is reading, so we can have something to talk about that doesn't involve me nagging or him rolling his eyes. I recently turned him on to the Black Stallion series, which I loved, so I think I'll re-read those. He wants me to read the Artemis Fowl series but I can't muster an interest. I see that there is to be a movie of "My Friend Flicka" - which I adored - so I also think I'll re-read that and then give it to him. It's a tear-jerker iirc. And we are eagerly awaiting the 7th Harry Potter and the 3rd Eragon. ...I Am Watching: ENTOURAGE! I love this show. So fucking funny, plus Adrian Grenier is hot. I may also get back into Rescue Me, which I stopped watching halfway through last season because it's so dark. I'm always relieved that there isn't much on over the summer, because it gives me more free time. This is a concept the husband doesn't understand ("Why don't you just not watch those shows during the regular season?"). ...My OneTrue TV-Boyfriend Is: Jamie Bamber. Duh. (Don't fret Jamie - Ace is just for sex...) ...I Am Loving: My kids, my new (smaller!) boobs, my yellow car, fajitas with lots of cilantro, my ipod shuffle, Liz and SamIam, memory foam, hot showers, wearing tee shirts as jammies, Tobblerone candy, coke (dude... the soda...) in the morning, playing "20 Questions - LoTR Version" with the kids, my cousin Kim, jumping around to "No Sleep Tonight", introducing the kids to music I love, white wings, when my sister tells a story, planning vacations, looking at Ace. ...I Really Cannot Fucking Stand: Weather "forecasters", Ticketmaster, USPS, Britney Spears, slow drivers, people who flinch when I say 'fuck', pretty much all cellular carriers ever, 90% of reality TV (love my TAR!), the fact that in 2006 no airlines can reserve my tickets under my real name because they still can't manage a hyphen, ketchup, Jennifer Aniston, suburban moms (okay I am a suburban mom - but hear me out here) who cannot manage their idiotically oversized SUVs, low thread-count sheets, weeds in my garden, the fact that my kids have homework, losing a board game, losing a card game, okay fine - losing period, telemarketers, junk mail, martinis, alarm clocks, folding the king sized sheets, fighting with the kids about Xbox, GWB. Oh, did I mention how much I hate weather "forecasters" and the weather "forecast" itself? It's sort of a thing with me. Hate. HATE! ...I Believe: In long slow wet kisses... KIDDING! Seriously now: That ketchup wants to get me That dancing is Love That salt water and sea air really do cure everything, just like my Grandmother always said That lower school kids shouldn't have homework, ever That having a pet is important That NOT drinking red wine is responsible for more headaches than drinking red wine That vacations are worth every penny and we should all have more ... I Am Thinking About: Four different vacations we are taking this summer (Lewes, Key West, Virginia, St Croix), losing 20 pounds, the garden, Tyler starting Middle School in the fall, eliminating the kids' xbox for the summer, my new smartphone....
